Welcome! I am Ada de Wit, an art historian and a PhD candidate at the Radboud University Nijmegen (the Netherlands).

This site tells you a bit about my professional activities and interests – all related to European decorative arts and historic interiors. Currently, I am preoccupied with seventeenth century woodcarving, Grinling Gibbons and Anglo-Dutch relationships (1650-1700).

Thank you for visiting, do look around, and please contact me if you have any questions!
